Our mission is to offer various resources, programs, and advocacy to empower women and promote equality

Mission

The mission of the American Asian & Pacific Islander Sisterhood (AAPI Sisterhood) is to empower and uplift underserved women of Asian and Pacific Islander descent through holistic support, fostering personal growth, and creating opportunities for self-advancement.

We envision a world where every woman of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage has the resources, support, and encouragement needed to thrive and succeed in all aspects of life.

Objectives:

  1. Provide Comprehensive Support: Offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the diverse needs of underserved women, including educational workshops, mentorship opportunities, and access to essential resources such as healthcare and financial assistance.

  2. Promote Personal Growth: Empower women to develop essential life skills, cultivate self-confidence, and embrace their cultural identity through personal development workshops, leadership training, and cultural enrichment activities.

  3. Create Safe Spaces: Establish safe and welcoming spaces where women can share their stories, seek guidance, and receive emotional support from peers and mentors without fear of judgment or discrimination.

  4. Foster Economic Empowerment: Support women in achieving financial independence and economic stability through job training, entrepreneurship programs, and access to microloans and small business resources.

  5. Advocate for Social Justice: Advocate for policies and initiatives that address the unique needs and challenges faced by underserved women within the AAPI community, including issues related to immigration, healthcare, gender equality, and racial justice.
